Damon: Graham and I were at school at the age of 12. And we had a sort of music building in the school and we always use to go and just play everyday.

Graham: At 12 years old he was already writing stuff and at school I was a sax player and he was a pianist. And um he sort of had a little band, I hardly knew him really. And had only seen him around the music part of the school. He just wanted a saxophone player to do a little solo so he went around on his time with a tiny little 4track and I put down and we became good friends.

Damon: Then Graham went to art school and I was just living. Playing but not getting anywhere.
